Preparation & Applying

To get started, mix at least two table spoonfuls of turmeric powder into a cup, followed by approximately the same amount of honey.

You really can't go wrong if you have a nice mixture of each ingredient, as they are dependent on each other to work at its peak.

Mix the ingredients together.

With clean hands use one finger to gently smear the solution paste across affected areas in soft, circular motions. Don't press hard on your skin; but rather glide across it. For each area, use one finger. Wash your hands once all fingers have contributed, and start over. Usually it takes a few fingers to get most of your face,

Once you have covered the affected areas, it's best to now go ahead and cover unaffected areas. This is done to balance out rigidness, to exfoliate any dead skin and to smooth the skin quality overall. Not to mention to also cover any unbalanced skin color from the turmeric solution, don't worry it will not permanently stain skin and definitely will not harm it in any way.

The longer you leave it on, the more work is being performed on blemishes, and the more disinfection will be taking place.
It is really entirely up to you though, less time today requires more time in the future to make up for the time. It depends on the severity of inflammation and amount of acne pustules. It is effective once applied, so it can be washed off immediately or a few minutes. Using a gentle cleanser would be ideal, to wash off the turmeric color. You'll really need a cleansing agent after mainly because turmeric leaves a yellow-colored stain on your face, but it is very possible to get off.
